1. The goal of prayer is the ear of God, a goal that can only be reached by patient and continued and continuous waiting upon Him, pouring out our heart to Him and permitting Him to speak to us.

2. God does not come on plans, strategies and machinery as such but on people – people with a desire for more of God, people who pray.

3. Talking to men for God is a great thing but talking to God for men is greater still.

The Holy Spirit does not come on plans, methods and things. He appoints and anoints people who trust Him and follow Him in weakness.

 信仰、希望、忍耐、そして敬虔の持つ力強く、美しく、生き生きとした力の全ては、祈りのない人生の中では、萎（な）えて、死んだようになってしまう。一人一人の信仰者の生活、その個人的な救い、キリスト者としての恵みは、”祈り”の中に、その存在と、開花と、結実を持っているのだ。

Faith, and hope, and pattience and all the strong, beautiful, vital forces of piety are withered and dead in a prayerless life. The life of the individual believer, his personal salvation, and personal Christian graces have their being, bloom, and fruitage in prayer.
