◆キリストが来られた本当の意味◆

イエス・キリストは、新しい宗教を創ろうとしたのでもなければ、”神と、財宝と、銃のキリスト教“を創ろうとしたのでもなかった。彼は“人間性”というものを、本来のかたちに回復するために来られたのだ。“愛”と“あわれみ”の姿に――。彼は、私たちが自分自身を愛するように、他者(自然も含む)を愛することができ、進んで愛するときにのみ、神を愛することができるのだということを思い出させるために、来られたのである。―たとえ彼らが、自分とは違っているとしても。“神の栄光”とは、“完全な姿で生きている人間性”のことなのだ。

Jesus Christ did not intend to create a new religion, nor did He want to create a Christianity of God, Gold and Guns! He came to restore humanity back to its origin: back to love and compassion. He came to remind us that we can only love God when we are able and willing to love others (including nature) as we love ourselves,--even when they are different than us.
