夜ごとに、

私は梯子（はしご）を使って空に昇り、

月を突っつき、

あなたのもとに携えます。

―カゴ一杯の星と、

―光にあふれた心と、

―“愛”で味付けした一編の詩を！

 

この詩は私、サムから

傷心を抱えたあなたへ

“最も暗い夜々にも、

いつだって希望はあるのだ！”ということを

知っていただくための

With my ladder

every night,

I climb up the skies,

and pick the moon

and I bring you

a basket full of stars

a heart filled with light

and a poem seasoned with love!

 

A gift of words is this poem

from Sam to those

with broken hearts

to let them know;

there is always hope

even in the darkest nights!
