家路を急ぐ私たちの足は、

土を蹴り、砂ぼこりを上げるかもしれませんが、

この世の旅路の終わりには、

私たちは、金で敷き詰められた

“都大路”を歩くのです。

【黙示録21:21】 また、十二の門は十二の真珠であった。どの門もそれぞれ一つの真珠からできていた。都の大通りは、透き通ったガラスのような純金であった。

【解説】“土ぼこり”に象徴されるものは、様々な困難、病、挫折…でしょうか。でも、このみ言葉のとおり、約束された“かの日”を信じて、今日も地上の道を、臆せずに歩みましょう。

Our steps home may touch the earth and stir up dust, but at the end of our journey, we will walk on streets paved with gold.
