◆サタンのささやく偽りの慰め◆

サタンは時として”偽りの慰め主”としてやってきて、魂にこう言う。「”悔い改め”とやらをするために、なんでそんなに大騒ぎをする必要があるんですか？　あなたは他の人に比べて、ちっとも悪くなんかありませんよ。」そして彼は、そのように仮定したことが、本当に聖霊のくださる保証であるかのように魂を信じ込ませようとするのだ。かくのごとくサタンは、多くの人を“偽りの慰め”で欺く。

The devil will sometimes come to mens souls as a false comforter, and he will say to the soul, “What need is there to make all this ado about repentance? you are no worse than other people,” and he will try to make the soul believe that what is presumption is the real assurance of the Holy Ghost; thus he deceives many by false comfort.
