―安かれ、ぶどうの枝よ―

ぶどうの枝は、日光や雨を探し求めて、それらが得られるか心配したり、労したり、あちこち突き進んだりはしない。一切しないのだ。それは、ぶどうの木と一つに結ばれ、親しき交わりのうちに憩う。この結合の中で、ぶどうの枝には、定められた時に、正しい栽培方法のもと、よき実が実るのである。私たちも、そのように、主イエスのもとにとどまろうではないか。

The branch of the vine does not worry, and toil, and rush here to seek for sunshine, and there to find rain. No; it rests in union and communion with the vine; in union and at the right time, and in the right way, is the right fruit found on it. Let us so abide in the Lord Jesus.
