熱心な祈りとは、とりとめもない心のまま、ところ定まらない空中に話しかけることではありません。祈るとき、私たちは、“主”に対して心の焦点を合わせなければなりません。熱心な祈り、それは、神様と“結ばれた”心から生まれるのです。

Earnest prayer does not mean speaking mindlessly into the air. We are to focus our minds and attention on the Lord when we pray. Earnest prayer comes from a heart that is engaged with God.
